We have a framework in which there are hundreds of XML files / text files / resources that decide the behavior of the system. (Huge <>

Other teams use this framework and produce different products on it.

To create a product using a framework, this usually means That's the XML files in various ways.

This issue is in front of the consumers of our forum, that they are not sure which files are necessary, which files are not and what should be splashed Should not be.

In other words, I think there is a lack of good documentation (we have a document but they describe different components in the system but do not miss the big picture and do not display the system workflow. )

So what I was thinking is a semantic text based search engine, which indexes these files and presents them in an intuitive way. If the consumers of our forum want to know "how can I fill the blah", then the search engine should point out the steps involved in completing Blah

Is this a good idea? If so, So what text-based search engine we can use. (Lucene I know only one thing)
