html - PHP expression <<<EOB -

I have been developing with PHP for some years, and recently came into this code:

I have never seen this approach to print HTML, which seems to be very useful and less than a few strange variables or low expressions syntax error.

We have discovered some official information about this and only got a position of Rasmus talking about this.

What is the detailed explanation about this functionality and what does EOB mean? Maybe the end of the block ?

It is known as syntax. The document will tell you everything that is told.

Originally, though:

A third way to limit the string is the headoc (syntax) syntax: & lt; & Lt; & Lt;. After this operator, an identifier is provided, then a new line string is in its own way, and then the same identifier again to stop the quote.

The closing identifier should start in the first column of the line. Additionally, the identifier must follow the same naming rules as any other label in PHP: It should only contain alphanumeric characters and underscores, and should start with a non-digit letter or underscore.

Then the author selects it as its delimiter, in fact it is not sure what it means in its case, but the identifier is that too Which you want. / P>
