java - How to test HQL queries? -

I'm looking for a fast (really fast) way to test changes to hibernate I am I have a large application with thousands of different HQQ queries (in XML files) and 100+ mapped sections and I do not want to completely recruit the whole application to test a small change in a query.

Is a good setup feeling that I am free from reconsideration and able to check the fastest questions?

Intellij IDEA 8.1 with 3 likes is called mechnism 'facet'

  • If you create a data source - add data source, add data source, define driver, yor development db password and password
  • If you do not already have a hibernate coof or you have your session factory Do not configure it in a different way than XML: In terms of all XML mapping, a hibernate CFG f L (Create name for session function, just for easier handling)
  • Add 'facet' to your module's liking 'project structure' and assign the recently defined data source to the new aspect < / Li>
  • Switch to Java EE view
  • Open Hibernate facets - node
  • Right-click on the session factory and select "Open HQ Console"
  • Enter the HQL query in the console ... and you're done.
  • Sorry for the RTFM question.
