Is it wise to store XML in this Active Directory?

An ECM in my project is performing a night-running through Edge and Eddie and is reading XML data from each AD group ....

Active Directory (or any other LDAP) should be okay in small quantities of XML data. I do not use it, it has my central database repository. You can increase the directory object to the schema on your desired field. But occasionally is better to delete data in an unused field.
