How much space is alloted to application storage on the iPhone? -

Do anyone know that the subset of the entire storage capacity of iPhones is reserved for applications and application data? I am not talking about Ram, but rather disk space. I remember that only one part of the iPhone's ability was used for application data, while the rest was used for music and media, although I do not remember the amount. Thank you

It depends on the model, of course - you have 8, 16 and 32 GB variations. My 16GB iPhone 3G will have a free space of 14 GB, while my 32 GB iPhone 3GS has 28GB of free space. This free space is not limited to app, music, video, or podcast - it's shared. Unless still available free space, you can install more apps or sync more media files. There is no division of hard disk space with the file type.

On the other hand, no single application can hold more than 2 GB hard disk space.
