Is it possible to wake up iPhone? -

I would like to know if it is possible for the iPhone to wake up from sleeping in programming? I have an NSTimer set to run the sound after a certain time, but I want to wake it up during the timer rings. Is this at all possible? Thanks!

I am using a TChart in Delphi 7, and I want to display charts sometime.
