I want to create some formatted text in a .NET RichTextBox control. It seems like quite a problem to use the existing mechanism for formatting, eg. Selection etc.

Any kind of markup will be very easy. To wit. Eg markup works on this site eg 

  some ** bold ** text.

Gives you "some bold text.

Anyone:

  • Know that Anything that exists,
  • is the address of any C # code that can be modified to do this,
  • Or is there any other suggestion?
